Carpenter Foreman

Reports to:

Operation’s Manager

Job Summary:

The Carpenter Foreman will work directly with the Site Superintendent(s) on selected projects. Main duty will be assisting with supervision of Scott Builders’ employees and ensuring that all work is done safely and efficiently.  Additional duties may include, but will not be limited to, scheduling and planning, assisting with project mobilization and demobilization, and assuming the responsibilities not only of a Carpenter, but of the Site Superintendent in his absence or at his request.

Skills and Experience:

We are looking for an organized individual who has the ability to professionally and efficiently handle multiple tasks on various projects, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.

• Planning and scheduling of staff.
• Ability to set and reach goals and follow time lines.
• Previous supervisory experience an asset.
• Ability to complete all necessary paper work accurately and in a timely fashion.

Education:

Journeyman Carpentry Certification.
