Position:

Commerical Estimator

Reports to:

Operation’s Manager

Job Summary:

Working closely with the Sales Team to develop preliminary design cost estimates and proposal documents for clients. Additional duties will include but not be limited to preparing the final version of the client contract documents, refining cost estimates and cost coding the estimates as required, and building and maintaining relationships with local sub trades.

Skills and Experience:

We are looking for an individual with a professional and pleasant demeanor with the ability to handle multiple time-sensitive tasks while working in a team environment. Attention to detail and accuracy, planning and organization, strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to be successful in this position.

• 2+ years of construction experience in commercial and light industrial sector.
• Experience with Construction Management and Design/Build Projects.
• Computer skills in software including MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, accounting and estimating programs.
• Thorough understanding and experience with Hard Tender Bid Process.
  

Education:

Education and/or training in estimating, engineering and/or project management.
